Happy May!
Another month has gone by, much too fast if you ask me. Now it is May, spring is here (in theory), school gets out in a matter of weeks for everyone, and then summer is upon us. Soon Brandon will have his master's and a mini-me, Travis will be looking foward to a summer break, Tia will be going to prom, and I'll have had my last final EVER!!!!!! It will be a busy month for everyone, but at least we should all be able to see one another at least once (except for Tam because she has ostracized herself on the West coast, but we still love her).
Travis and I had the pleasure of attending Alan Mais's wedding in KC this past weekend. It was wonderful, they looked so happy! Travis had to carry extra kleenex because poor Alan was crying from the time he first saw Kathleen until they said thier "I do's." It was very sweet. Got to see a few old friends from the marching mizzou days, but not many were there. It was nice to kind of catch up with everyone a bit, and catch them up too. Lots has happened since we all went our seperate ways. We also got our invitation to Crowe's wedding in the mail, it is in June. It is crazy the way we are all getting old and married.
Work/school is going alright for now, I have had some interesting ideas for my project. Hopefully I will actually be able to start on some of them before my seminar in July so everyone won't fall asleep during my talk. Looking foward to that! Travis is looking foward to finding out what he'll be teaching next year, it looks like there may be some pre-calc in his future and he is very excited about that. He won't have a totally bumming summer, he is going to work Circuit City full time over the summer so that we can afford a car this fall without having to eat ramen for the next two years. :-) He is too good to me.
The kitties are doing fabulous, they are pros at driving Travis nuts. I am a bit jealous of that seeing as I thought that was my unique calling, but I think we share the duty equally so that Travis is never too sane for too long. :-) Dante seems to be slowly but surely catching up to Fawkes in size, but he's still a ways behind. I keep telling him he won't be a runt forever, it would be kind of cruel for him to be small and a bit slow in the head. :-0 He's a barrel of fun, and way too sweet. He's the lover of the two, and Fawkes is definately the fighter. They are too much fun!
Sorry I don't have any new pics, I have to download the programs again because of the computer troubles we had and I just haven't had time yet. Imagine that. But hopefully soon I will, and maybe I'll have so great new pics for everyone to see! Love you all, take care!
